scheduling the initial appointment

After you fill out the contact form I will reach out to you to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to ensure that I am the right fit to help you with your presenting concerns and goals for treatment.


Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider which means that I do not directly bill insurance for treatment. However, I can provide a “super bill” that includes all of the information needed to submit a claim to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. You should call your insurance company before your appointment to find out if they reimburse for out-of-network providers.


cancellation policy

There is a 48-hour cancellation policy. If a session is missed or less than 48-hours notice is provided, the full rate of the session will be charged. 


first session

The first session is spent assessing your current struggles and day-to-day functioning, your psychosocial history, and your goals for treatment. Based on the assessment, I can determine if I am the right fit for you, and if not, I will provide you with a list of psychologists that I believe will be a better fit to help you reach your goals. It is possible that I will need to schedule an additional assessment session to either create a more complete treatment plan or evaluate whether I am the right therapist for you.


fee

Fees are payable at the time of your scheduled session. The fee for a 50-minute session is $300.  For your convenience, the following forms of payment are accepted: cash, check, and all major credit cards. The fee for a single Ketamine Assisted Therapy sessions is $1500. Given the cumulative nature of Ketamine, Dr. Dicterow recommends a commitment of 4 treatments.
